I spent 4 years in Canada studying at The University of Guelph and obtained my undergraduate degree in Animal Biology. I then moved to Scotland to study Veterinary Medicine where, in 2011 I graduated with honours from the University of Glasgow. I have since worked in small animal, general practice. I obtained a Postgraduate certificate in small animal Ophthalmology in June 2019 and am currently undertaking an ECVO residency program at Davies Veterinary Specialists under the supervision of Kerry Smith.
