After graduating and completing an internship in Equine Medicine at the University of Vienna, Austria, Dr. Stadler did her doctor’s thesis on Equine Sarcoids (University of Vienna). For 7.5 years she worked at the Equine Clinic Tillysburg, Austria, and she received the title Fachtierarzt für Pferde in 2012 . Following multiple externships with Brian Gilger, Dennis Brooks, Andy Mathews, and Richard Mc Mullen, Dr Stadler did her residency training (American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists) at the University of Zurich, Vetsuisse, with Bernhard Spiess from 2013 - 2016. In 2017 she started as an ophthalmology consultant in different Small Animal and Equine Clinics in Switzerland. In 2019 she became a Diplomate of the ACVO. Since 2021 Silvia is back to Austria. As a partner of the Equine Clinic Tillysburg she is establishing an Ophthalmology Department as part of the clinic for Equines and Small Animals. Her main interest is Equine Ophthalmology.
