I graduated from the Veterinary University Vienna in 2009 and continued my academic career with an equine rotating internship. In 2010 I started my clinical PhD with special emphasis on equine ophthalmology, which I completed successfully in September 2013. I started a residency program in comparative ophthalmology in October 2013 at the ophthalmology unit of the Veterinary University of Vienna, supervised by Prof. Barbara Nell and Dr. Barbara Braus. In October 2016, after having completed my residency, I took a position at the Rowe Referrals as a fulltime -clinical ophthalmologist. I became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2018 and joined Paragon Referrals as Head of Ophthalmology in 2021.
