Instructions for placement of an ad, please read carefully:
Ads for job opportunities including clinical, research and/or teaching posts for DipECVO and DipACVO specialists, as well as for official ECVO or ACVO approved training program's (residencies) may be announced through the ECVO Website free of charge for a period of two months. Every ad needs to be submitted via email to ecvowebsite@hotmail.co.uk in a Word document file with the details of the position being offered. In addition, a separate synopsis paragraph of 60 words or less also needs to be included. The synopsis may be typed into the request email or sent as a separate Word document attachment. The synopsis will be used as the opening to the ad, after which we will ad the following: "For more information click here". This will lead to the Word/PDF document file provided, that the user will be able to download and print. Ads may be placed for less than two months or more than two months with a maximum of three months when specifically requested at the time the request is sent to ecvowebsite@hotmail.co.uk

Speciality Internship in Ophthalmology and Small Animal Emergency Medicine

The small animal clinic, Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Bern in Switzerland is accepting applications for a speciality internship in Ophthalmology and Emergency Medicine.

During this one year internship 75% of the time will be devoted to the Ophthalmology service and 25% will be spent on small animal Emergency Medicine. The ophthalmology caseload comprises small animal, equine and large animal species. Service in the Emergency Service is exclusively for small animals and includes generous time-off to compensate for weekend duties and late shifts.

La Clinique Vétérinaire d’Ophtalmologie Ophtalmo Vétérinaire Inc. is offering a 3 year ECVO residency position

This program will start in July 2018 and the expected end is July 2021.

The primary objectives of the program are: To successfully train the candidate to veterinary ophthalmology practice and to prepare the resident for the successful completion of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ECVO) board certification process.

University of Liège, Ophthalmology Internship Position

The veterinary teaching hospital of the University of Liège seeks qualified candidates for an internship in veterinary ophthalmology starting March 1, 2018. The intern will be working side-by-side with the 2 Board-certified ophthalmologists (Dr Grauwels and Dr Monclin) and the 3rd year resident.
