Rose graduated from Liverpool University in 2005 with a keen interest in ophthalmology, fostered during an externship at the Animal Medical Centre in New York. After five years in a busy general practice in East London, Rose moved to Davies Veterinary Specialists, Hertfordshire where she undertook an ECVO residency programme supervised by Dr David Gould and Kerry Smith. Rose stayed working as a clinician at Davies Veterinary Specialists until November 2017, when she moved to Eye Veterinary Clinic in Herefordshire.
